Today Le Moulleau Village, as it is called here, is the part of the resort of
Arcachon where smart shops and trendy cafés make it a welcoming and lively place
from spring to the end of autumn. Dont miss the magnificent Byzantine-style
church, erected in 1863, and built on a dune. It offers a superb view of the
main thoroughfare which ends at the beach's edge.
Le Moulleau welcomed Gabriele d'Annunzio, who wrote some of his finest works
